Use the map for the question you have now
ChunkSeed helps you inspect a world before spending time travelling through it. Check the area around spawn, look for a biome, compare structure locations, or send the same map view to another player.
Start with the terrain and add only the markers you need. This keeps the map readable and leaves the rest of the world for you to discover in Minecraft.
Start broad or open a focused finder
Use a full edition map when you want several layers. Use a finder when one type of result is enough.
Java seed map
Explore Java biomes and supported structures in the Overworld, Nether, and End.
Open tool →Bedrock seed map
Check a Bedrock world for mobile, console, Windows, or Realms.
Open tool →Biome Finder
Open a seed with the biome view ready and look for a specific landscape.
Open tool →Structure Finder
Show supported structure markers and compare practical travel routes.
Open tool →A shorter route to an in-game decision
Choose a place to build
Compare the land, nearby water, biome variety, and useful structures around spawn.
Prepare an exploration trip
Check direction and distance before packing supplies or building a portal route.
Review a multiplayer seed
Share one view so everyone is discussing the same edition, version, and area.
Find one missing target
Open a focused finder when you only need one biome or structure type.
Check the settings before the coordinates
- 1
Copy the seed
Use the full value and keep the minus sign when the seed is negative.
- 2
Match the world
Select Java or Bedrock and the version that generated the area you are checking.
- 3
Move from spawn
Pan and zoom to a distance you would realistically travel in your world.
- 4
Add one target
Enable the biome or structure you need, then open a marker for coordinates.
Four things to check first
Confirm the seed, edition, version, and dimension. Most completely different maps come from one of these settings, especially when a minus sign was missed or Java coordinates were used in Bedrock.
An older world may contain chunks generated by different releases. Choose the version that created the exact area you are checking, not simply the newest version installed today.
Mods, datapacks, add-ons, experiments, and custom server generation can change the result. Important underground or terrain-sensitive markers should still be confirmed in game.
Made to help with planning, not play the world for you
ChunkSeed is an independent project for ordinary questions that come up during a Minecraft world: where to settle, how far a trip is, or whether a seed suits a group. The map cannot answer every edge case, but it can give you a useful place to begin checking.

The project began after too many trips were planned from crowded maps, unexplained markers, or coordinates copied from the wrong edition. The first aim is simple: make the next step easier to understand.
The wide map is useful when you want context. Focused finder pages are useful when you only need one answer. Both should lead to the same result: a coordinate, a direction, or a decision you can use in game.
Minecraft changes and unusual worlds will expose mistakes. Reports that include the seed, edition, version, dimension, and coordinates are useful because they make a result possible to check and improve.
Reveal enough to make a plan. Leave enough to make a memory.
Some players want every coordinate. Others only want the direction of a Cherry Grove. ChunkSeed works best when you stop as soon as the map has answered your question.
