This policy applies when you visit chunkseed.com, use its maps and finders, browse Popular Seeds, or contact support. ChunkSeed is operated by Gio Nui as an independent website.

You do not create a ChunkSeed account to use the public tools. The site does not ask you to upload a Minecraft world save for the normal map workflow.

The main biome and structure calculations run on your device in the browser. A seed entered into the map is used to draw the requested view without being sent to a ChunkSeed map-rendering server.

A shared map address can contain the seed, edition, version, dimension, coordinates, and view settings. Anyone who receives that address may be able to open the same world view, so avoid sharing a seed that you intend to keep private.

Like most websites, the hosting and security systems may handle an IP address, request time, requested page, referrer, browser details, device type, approximate network region, and security signals. This information helps deliver the site, diagnose errors, and limit abuse.

The site may also measure page views, performance, and broad feature usage. Interface choices such as language and theme may be kept in local storage or a cookie on your device.

If you email support, the message, sender address, attachments, and any seed or coordinates you include are received so the question can be investigated and answered.

Cloudflare provides hosting, content delivery, and security services and may process request and network information for those purposes. Google Analytics may be used to understand visits, device categories, page performance, and how the public site is used.

Operational records are kept only for as long as they are reasonably needed for delivery, security, troubleshooting, and legal requirements, subject to the retention practices of the relevant provider.

ChunkSeed may display advertising through Google AdSense. When advertising is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may receive technical information such as the page address, IP address, browser information, and cookie or device identifiers. Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies may be used to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and personalize ads where applicable consent and settings allow it.

You can change cookie permissions in your browser and use Google My Ad Center for Google advertising choices. Refusing or deleting cookies may reset site preferences or change the ads you see, but no ChunkSeed account is required to use the core map.

Popular Seeds entries and other pages may link to community posts, wikis, repositories, or additional websites. Their operators decide how those destinations collect and use information. This policy does not cover information you give directly to another website.

You may ask about, correct, or request deletion of personal information contained in a support conversation by emailing support@chunkseed.com. A limited record may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal duties, or resolving an ongoing dispute.

There is no ChunkSeed password profile or account archive to export. A seed used only in the local map is not stored as part of a user account database.

ChunkSeed is a general-interest Minecraft planning website and is not designed to collect sensitive personal information. Do not include unnecessary personal details in map reports, and do not send information about a child unless you are authorized to do so.

Internet services can route and process technical information across borders through Cloudflare, Google, and related infrastructure. The providers apply their own privacy terms to that processing.
